As the title suggest, I had some trouble changing the fields with "rewire app" or anything that changes name for some reasons.
I don't know if this has been addressed yet so here I am submitting an issue.

Checked the logs of Rainmeter to only see that it is caused by the spaces of my PC username in the "Users" folder.
Forgot to screenshot but the error says along the lines of "Illegal path"

Ways I try to fix or get around this is by either manually editing with "edit skin" or by changing the value of "SkinPath" (from the Rainmeter Client -> edit settings) to another directory that has no spaces.

This is my first time reporting any bug, feel free to ask what more info I can provide.

Yes, this is a present issue with this suite. I believe this issue is present in rewiring apps plus a few others like Change Social App and I hope to resolve this in a future patch. It has to do with some skins not encapsulating the write-in file with quotations, thus truncating the filepath down to the first instance of a space.

As you have stated, the best way to ensure this issue doesn't happen currently is for users to have their Rainmeter files saved in a directory path without spaces. That being said, non-English characters and cloud-based directories will not work under any circumstance, as it is a Lua limitation that I am unable to control.

Thank you for your report. I will update this thread again once progress is made.

The most recent release has just addressed this issue, so I will be closing this thread.
