Side apps are special apps that exhibit special behaviors unlike Tray Apps that inherit appbase.inc. As such, they do not have access to the App Settings UI and cannot be reprogrammed as easily. However, their special attributes come with its own suite of customizability as specified in their respective pages.

The sideapps are as follows:

• Audio
• Notes
• Phone
• RecycleBin

On top of their unique behaviors, all Side Apps have an outlined name as they are placed directly on the Desktop, are slightly larger than the Tray Apps and have their own indepent spritesheet anatomy.
